Privacy Policy

1. Information Collected

  • Identity & Contact: Name, email, phone number, account/booking details.
  • Booking & Attendance: Activity, dates, age/DOB, parent/guardian details, consent logs.
  • Payment Data: Payment status, transaction IDs, invoices (full card details handled by secure payment gateway).
  • Safety & Health: Allergies, relevant medical conditions, injuries, first-aid records, emergency contacts.
  • Access & Security: Access logs, timestamps, CCTV footage in signed public areas.
  • Coaching & Performance: Optional/booked video recordings and coach notes.
  • Tech & Analytics: Browser, IP address, device, cookies.
  • Marketing Media: Identifiable photo/video (only with separate explicit consent).

2. Purpose of Collection

  • Process bookings, payments, refunds, and inquiries.
  • Deliver lane, machine, coaching, VR, Box Cricket, and party services.
  • Manage safety, access control, emergencies, incidents, insurance, and legal obligations.
  • Support coaching performance reviews and service logging.
  • Maintain security of people and property.
  • Send essential transaction updates and optional marketing communications.

3. Health Information Handling

  • Handled in accordance with the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic) and Health Privacy Principles. Restricted strictly to safety and emergency needs.

4. CCTV and Media Recordings

  • CCTV: Signed public/activity areas monitored for safety, security, and staffless access. Not continuously monitored live.
  • Performance Video: Used solely for requested coaching/analysis services.
  • Promotional Media: Optional and separate consent (not bundled into waivers/bookings).

5. Third-Party Disclosure

  • Shared only as necessary with booking/payment processors, accounting systems (e.g., Xero), cloud IT providers, access/security platforms (e.g., igloohome), coaches, insurers, legal advisers, or emergency services/regulators.

6. Security & Retention

  • Protected against misuse, loss, or unauthorized access. Retained only as long as required for operations, legal/insurance mandates, then securely deleted/de-identified.

7. Access, Correction, and Rights

  • Protected under Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Australian Privacy Principles, and Health Records Act 2001 (Vic).

8. Filming, Photography & Media Consent

CrickZilla is a shared recreational space where photography and video recording may take place in accordance with our current policies and safety rules.

By entering and participating at CrickZilla, you acknowledge that your image, likeness, or voice may be captured in photographs or video recordings. Such content may be used responsibly by CrickZilla for promotional, marketing, social media, advertising, training, or other business-related purposes.

CrickZilla will make reasonable efforts to ensure that all photography and filming are conducted respectfully, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable safety and privacy requirements.

If you have any concerns or do not wish for your image or video to be used, please inform a member of the CrickZilla (CZ) Team as soon as possible. The CZ Team will review your concern and take appropriate action in line with the current CrickZilla policy.
